Fortunately, there are a couple of ways around this. Using the menu at the bottom of the screen, you can quickly access any of your shared documents or bookmarked documents, so those are always easy to find. You can also use the search function on this menu. GoodNotes has powerful handwriting recognition, allowing you to find any search term throughout both typed and handwritten notes.

If you use upgraded iCloud notes, you can collaborate with others by sharing a note or a folder. Anyone you add receives a link to open the note or folder of notes in the Notes app or on iCloud.com. You can also manage shared notes and folders by removing access, hiding notifications, and more.
